In August, Football for Water organised a football and hygiene clinic for a cluster of schools in Accra, Ghana. The theme was ‘Hand Washing With Soap During Vacation’. Who can bring the message better across than WorldCoaches ambassadors and former professional football players?
Football For Water is proud that our legends from allover came to grace, participate and emphasise the important wash messages. It was a great day in Accra, Ghana. The schools have started again, so all the children will get the message via their WorldCoaches at the Football For Water schools.
The clinic was organised as a kick off of a brand new football pitch. Also at night the pitch will be used. It is illuminated via Philips solar lightning. In total 90 pitches in Africa and South America are part of the light centers project from Philips.
