Dari Aisha, 12 years old. From Wambong, Ghana. She is plays at central midfield and she is known for her responsibility and control.
Dari lives near to the school, a short walk of 10 minutes. She is a reliable player that you can always count on. She wants to become a doctor, so she knows she has to study hard. She sometimes helped the women of her school to collect 34 litres water to cook a warm meal for the entire school.
Now with the Football For Water project being implemented, the water is collected from the water tank next the school by the women self. Before this was installed, Dari, her family and her neighbours were only drinking water from the dam. The amount of water at this dam is insufficient to provide water all year round. This water furthermore causes Guinea Worm Disease. Dari told that when that happens it is impossible to go to school or to work. Now there is also a health facility being built near to the school. Dari really liked the football and health training she got recently.
